virgin mobile phones

Virgin Mobile is one of the most recognizable names in wireless, a subsidiary of big carrier Sprint. Virgin was an iPhone-exclusive retailer for a while, but now sells devices from other brands like Samsung, LG, Moto, Alcatel and ZTE. Since Virgin Mobile is a prepaid carrier, their phones can only be purchased in full upfront, as there are no installment plans for them.
The carrier offers three competitively priced plans to go along with these devices, including a $60 unlimited talk, text and data plan. To browse through them, check out Virgin Mobile's offerings on WhistleOut's cell phone plan comparison engine
Without further ado, here are some of the best Virgin Mobile phones.

Virgin Mobile iPhones

As mentioned, Virgin was an iPhone-only retailer for a spell, but has resumed selling other brands. The carrier offers all of the top Apple phones, from older models like the iPhone 6 and 6s up through the very latest flagships in the iPhone X, Xs and Xs Max (they'll probably also sell the XR when it's released next month by Apple).
Perhaps it's Virgin's longstanding partnership with Apple that allows them to offer these devices at slightly cheaper costs than the big carriers; the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X and XS are all $100 off their retail prices (the XS Max is not).
The slightly older, but still good Apple phones can be had for relatively cheap, like $449.99 for the iPhone 7.

Virgin Mobile Samsung Phones

Virgin Mobile also sells a few Samsung devices, most notably the Galaxy S8 and S9. The $599.99 S8 is currently out of stock (not surprising given that price), but the Galaxy S9 is available for $699.99. If you're looking for a less expensive Samsung, Virgin also offers the J7 Refine for slightly over $200. These prices, of course, are just a snapshot; check back via WhistleOut for any changes.

Virgin Mobile LG Phones

In addition to Samsung and Apple phones, Virgin Mobile also sells a few midrange and budget LG devices. This includes the great-for-the-price LG Stylo 4, currently $199.99. If you want to go cheap, the LG Tribute DYNASTY is $49.99.

Best Virgin Mobile Cell Phone Plans

The nice thing about choosing a cell phone plan from Virgin Mobile—besides the price—is the simplicity of their offerings. Virgin sells three plans, all of which include unlimited talk and text: a 5GB $35 plan, a 10GB $45 plan, and the aforementioned $60 unlimited talk, text and data plan.
We'll tip our hand here: Virgin's unlimited $60 cell phone plan is our favorite of the bunch.
